Please, please, please don't get my hopes up like that.  When the thing actually shows up as in-stock, then I'll believe.

Wow, that'd be ultra-cool! :-)

However, after the HDD Vibez desaster the last months I also have my doubts, like Ruben...

Nevetherless, a Flash Vibez would be a killer player, I already wondered what player to switch to if my Vibez would die...

You all seem not very enthusiastic... I think the Vibez F will finally become available this month, several european shops are listing the Vibez F as available in the following weeks...( I hope I am not dreaming)

In fact some German Shops are listing the 4gb and 8gb as "in stock" or in stock in a few days.

That was also sometimes the case with the 12 GB HDD version during the last few months, while it was simply not available. That's why we're sceptical.

However, let's hope for the best!

TrekStor will release a new model of the Vibez (date has not been
determined). This new version will offer a flash memory only and will be
available with a memory capacity of 4 GB, 8 GB & 16GB. The model names will
be "vibez 4 GB F", "vibez 8 GB F" & "vibez 16 GB F".

We will contact you as soon as we receive more information regarding the
release date.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Subject: vibez f 16 GB ?!?!?!? Is this legitimate?

Hey support team.  Quick question.

Apparently mp3-play.de is expecting to get 16 GB vibez f players
in-stock someday
(http://www.mp3-player.de/index.php?page=article&ID=8158).  Is this
legitimate?  Is this really going to happen?  Any idea when?

Thanks,
Ruben

Well, well, well...

Let's hope they actually start selling them as opposed to simply announcing new versions with ever-increasing capacities and a release date of "TBA." ;-)

What would be really cool if they would be upgradeable.  For example, if they use compact flash, I would buy a 4gb then pop in a 32gb card.

Subject: vibez f at IFA 2008
Looks like the flash vibez is scheduled to make an appearance at IFA in a few weeks:

And get a load of the stamp in this image.  (Sure, this could just be an internal photoshop from TrekStor, but it does kinda get my hopes up.)

Good catch, RubenNYC. My hopes are kinda up too! ;-)
