Just to add an opinion that is slightly different, I (sort of) do not. Frankly, it's hard to say without knowing the actual percentages (i.e. how many units have had problems and how many have not).
I had to send my original back to B&H due to some hardware issues, and then my replacement got bricked by static electricity when I went to adjust the volume in the dock one day. Still under warranty, I sent the unit in to get replaced -- and I am still waiting (~a month so far).
The thing is, once (if?) I get my replacement, I feel that I'll have to treat the unit very tenderly.
So, I went out and bought a Sansa e280. It's flash and takes microSD cards - so I've got it with 16GB now. It doesn't play ogg, so I had to re-rip all my ogg to mp3. (It doesn't play FLAC, so it's not a good replacement for Hundredth.) I am really enjoying the freedom of a flash player, but I miss the Vibez's interface (or even the Karma's, my previous unit). Someday, I believe, Rockbox will be available for the e280 (it's a "v2", and RB only works on the v1 firmware at the moment) and that will help.
