Subject: I need an LCD for a Karma

I was replacing the HDD and I somehow ruined my LCD, It turns on, but displays a dark screen...

I am In Kansascity Missouri, USA 64134

Let me know what you have

PS I also need the top plastic trim( covers the power switch to the scroll wheel..

Was it a used hard drive from another Karma with the firmware still on it? If so, have you tried adjusting the screen brightness on it?

Try what Ruben suggested first, if that's the case. Otherwise, this guy is reliable. Mail me your address, I'll send you one of those little top trim pieces. I think I've got one or 2 extra laying around.

I wish that was the case... It would seem that in the process of installing my new ZIF drive ( no firmware yet) I overloaded the LCD, It displays as if the contrast is at full... although it does with with out power too, it lights up, but shows nothing.

Oh well, thanks for the ebay link, I purchased one, hopefully then i will get my 30 GB Karma Working
