The SYNC_ one I think is the very top line that says "Connected" and appears when connected in MSC mode.

Close... :)  Thats the SYNC_TITLE_NORMAL_FOREGROUND

You're welcome epithetless.  I uploaded the latest version that has previews of most of the items.

That's interesting about the clix and cowon.  I've heard of both but don't know much about them.

Just tried this cut for the first time.  Loving the preview screens!  Nice work!!!!

So, just to get this straight, we can only change the colors right now, right? I'm used to messing around with Rockbox on my X5 and having pictures as a background, but we're not at that point with the Vibez yet, right? Sorry if I missed something, I've only just started looking at this thread since I only just got my Vibez last week.

Yes, you can use any custom image you want for your background (as long as it's a jpeg).  That's already doable in the production 1.04 firmware that the vibez ships with.  You can also pick a solid color, have it display the current album art, or have it display one of the visualizations.

Got my replacement back from Trekstor yesterday and added the color schemes.  They look great although I'll need to work on a couple (some colors don't transfer as clearly as others).  Overall, it's a real treat to play with this and I appreciate Tom's work on it.

As a note - If you ever need assistance on your unit, skip the email route and call Trekstor directly (1-888-8TREKSTOR).  I found them to be extremely helpful and fair as well as personable.  The email address goes to Germany and they were zero help.

They shipped an initial unit that had a scratched screen and had the sticky wheel thing.  They had no issue taking that one back and expediting a replacement.  Great customer service!  The new unit is flawless.

Now, back to wasting my afternoon with color scheming. Thanks, Tom!

This has now been FAQ'd!   :-D

Someone pointed out that the 'Coming Soon!' screen was misspelled in my scheme editor app (thanks!  I never noticed.).  The first 'complete' version of the app is coming fairly soon, but I decided to post another version now with the spelling fixed for that screen and a few more changes.

Changes in this version:
1. Corrected spelling of 'Coming Soon!' message.
2. Added Sync screen preview.
3. Improved Hourglass preview.
4. Added menu/toolbar item to cancel all open color dialogs.
5. Added menu option to allow multiple color dialogs or not (currently does not get saved when application exits.  Default for now is to allow multiple dialogs)

Now I have to go record something so that I can see what the VUMeters look like  :-)

DOH!  When I think about how many times I looked at that screen without seeing that mistake it's amazing.  Thanks!

And you're welcome :)

Just wanted to drop in and thank Tom77 for all his work;   I sincerely love your app, its great and otherwise I probably wouldn't mess with my Vibez' color scheme without it.

Also thought I might post a scheme of my own; i'm still tinkering with it aesthetically, but there shouldn't be any 'bugs' in it to speak of:  http://www.mediafire.com/?ad0jyqu9hih

I'm not sure how to post a pic, but its a mix of green with dark blue.  I think its cool, i call it electraglide  :-)

:-D  Thanks! I appreciate that.  I've been having fun with this project and I'm pretty happy with the way its turning out too.  I'm about to try to make a new scheme myself with it.

I have the first 'complete' release available now.  See the new thread.

Hey, this looks neat. I'm absolutely going to try that. But I am most interested in creating a background image that incorporates the battery bar, volume bar and the likes into its design. Is there a template of the Vibez screen?

This is a .NET application?  Maybe you could consider releasing the source so it could (possibly?) be compiled in Mono for non-Windows systems.

Seems to run perfectly in Wine for me :) Great software BTW!

Here's my quick attempt, called The Blues for fairly obvious reasons.
Huge thanks to Tom77 for the app.
