Subject: New bug - "More of this..."
Hey Defector, I'm sure fixing beta code for a discontinued product is way at the bottom of your priority list right now, but hopefully the kick-ass "More of this..." feature will be included in the "next great thing" you guys in Cambridge are working on.
So here's the bug:
When you insert or enqueue music using the "More of this..." menu option, the Now Playing list doesn't immediately refresh to show what was added. If you exit and re-open the Now Playing list, you see the correct list. (Might affect Append, too, but haven't tried it, yet.) There is no problem with the actual insert and enqueue functions.
(Beta firmware 1.19)
Repro steps:
- While your listening to music, pull up the Now Playing screen
- Press the center or right button on any track in the list that has other tracks from the same album available in the library
- Select the "More of this..." menu option
- Select Album
- Press and hold the center or right button on any track in the album to bring up the context menu
- Select either Insert or Enqueueueueueueue
- When the display pops back to the Now Playing screen, the track you Inserted or Enqueued doesn't show up until you exit then re-open the Now Playing screen.
And yes, "More of this..." is a kick-ass feature, one of my favorites that I use all the time.
