Quote by rick.hughes:I use mine for podcasts in the car as well. It can be very tricky to go back by the smallest amount the player will allow, which is often 30 seconds or more, but not hold the button down too short a time and go back to the beginning of the track instead.Quote by IrishRose:And so a three hour podcast skips several minutes--EGAD! It really makes the Trekstor useless for that which I mostly use a player---podcasts. I still use it for my music, but I don't listen to that too often (1x or 2x/week). One of my family members does on the other Trekstor and still goes nuts with the skip length in the car, when trying a one-handed approach. But as stated, it is not that often one would reverse/FF through a song. Audible books or podcasts are another matter, however.
Here's hoping for a cure and thanks for the help!

I'm pretty sure this isn't the work around you're looking for, but for my Karma (I just got a Vibez and am not yet fully up to speed) I would use Goldwave (audio editing software) to split my books into 5 minute chunks. It was simple to do and immensely useful for managing the position within the book. It sounds like this would address the rewind issue. But, it's just a possible work around, and it does require manual intervention.
