Are you outside the 2 year warranty? Look on the plug to see when they were made.

I think that means Feb of 04 (which is what I think you meant), but yeah, that's out of the 2 years :-\

I don't think Shure cares if they're first hand or not though - they never asked me for a warranty card or anything, just what the code on the plug was to verify when they were made.

Got the E2's...I find the sound surprisingly similar to the e3's. My 2 disappointments:

1. Not nearly as much bass as I've heard people talk about.
2. They're huge, and tough to get into the gear just right.

Otherwise, totally worth the $50!

Got 'em, they're my first foray into IEMs.  Like them quite a lot, now that I found the tips that work for me.
