Subject: Cases for Karmas
I mentioned on the 'so beat' thread that I keep my Karma in a cheapo neoprene digicam case from Tesco. Well yesterday I found an excellent replacement for it - the Lowepro Rezo20 case, which fits it snugly, and has a double zip so that you can close it up again but leave the headphone cable running out straight through the top. It also has the obligatory front pocket which will just take a reel-type headphone case. £12 from PC World, and worth it if it is going to keep my Karma in its still reasonably pristine condition!

Anyone else found a good case solution, other than the 'custom' ones knocking about that seem quite expensive?

The Technohm is easily the best custom Karma case for the money.  Perfect fit, easy access to controls, won't break the bank. -> Technohm.com.

I've tried the Technohm case, which is custom fit for the Karma, but I didn't really like it.  I found it a little clunky, and didn't provide enough cushioning when tossed into a backpack.  I use the Lowepro D-pods 20, which is similar to the Rezo 20 mentioned by Higgers.  I like the thick neoprene, and the extra room under the top flap for coiling up my headphones.

My vote goes to the Technohm case. Karmalimbo is correct, there is no padding, but it is a well-made case. It fits the karma perfectly, and it looks quite nice. I use it primarily to carry my Karma on my belt for mobile listening, and it is quite secure. It leaves all of the Karma's controls exposed, so you don't have to remove it from the case to change the volume or skip tracks or to see what's currently playing.

I used the mindknob.com neoprene case with a nice karma shaped window and the right holes for buttons etc.  very cool.  not sure if they sell them anymore though,

I've got a well worn Mindknob case that I'm no longer using if anyone wants it (free). It was the best thing going before the Technohm case came along. The things I don't like about the MK are that it's kind of a pain to get the Karma in or out, the belt clip is attached to the neoprene, so it tends to bounce a bit when worn on the belt, and it's got kind of a homemade appearance where the TO looks more polished. That's just my $0.02.

I've been using a Gameboy case since I got the thing. (Gameboy Advanced, maybe?)

Don't know exactly which one, but it fits inside perfectly. Caveat: it's a transport case, not a use-on-the-fly case.
