Amy Winehouse - bringing back everything great about the 60s

I suggest Rehab, but she does a lot more than just that.

And Diamond Nights - they're like a new Cheap Trick!

Try Destination Diamonds

They play that Amy Winehouse song on like 4 different radio stations in Seattle.  It's maddening.

I'd never heard her before. She's got a nice, big booming set o' pipes, from the snips I checked. Just curious, who from the 60's does she remind you of?

Self-follow. Okay, Dusty Springfield. bam! English R 'n B chick singer, and just as authentic sounding. I was just kinda mourning Dusty the other day, she lived a troubled life and died too young.

Now this, kids, is called double posting. Whenever you double post, a kitten anally rapes jesus to death. So you should do it as much as possible.

Actually, double posting is entirely acceptable if you're replying to different people and quoting them.  Otherwise, editing is fine if yours was the last post.

Actually, posting to what I postied 10 minutes ago is to a different person according to Alfred Einstein, the forum decorum king.

Although I personally disagree with that sort of double-posting except in cases of very popular threads in which there's a lot of posting of massive arguments (EG the Stick it to the Man thread), I can ignore it. However, introducing a new sub-topic without reference to prior posts (except for the original, which in a good thread {or a bad thread, depending on your point of view} all posts have some level of reference to)... does anyone know of a literary convention used to divide sub-topics?

Note that if it had been a couple days later that you added the second post, that would've been a different matter as well.

Woo for turning this into a good thread as implicitly referred to in my double-parenthetical statement above!
