Please tell me you're not dissing the original BSG.  That show is one of the classics of a American TV history.  Not to say I don't love the new one, but, c'mon.  The new one would not exist if it weren't for the first.

The original was fantastic! I just block out that Galactica 1980 ever existed, but the 1st season was highly entertaining.

Getting back on topic...

We need flatty's equalizer thread.  Not only did it 'splain what an equalizer /did/, but gave some good defaults to start your own customization.

Yep, that's it.  Weird, I did a quick search for it, and couldn't find it (either in the forums or mentioned in this thread).  My search-fu is lacking, I guess.  :-/

But the old site was a support resource too, not just a hang-out. The problem with the old site wasn't the "real spammers", it was the admin account getting pwned. Without that, the spammers wouldn't've mattered.

good point.  so the question really is, do we want to continue to be a support resource, or are we just here to hang out? 

I'd vote for the former.  other thoughts?

I think it would be best if we continued to be a support resource.  Also, I think this place could use a little trolling and spam, it'd make it a little more lively.

Could compile all the information and just have a minimal site with all the old info that we could put together.

I think that's an excellent idea.  And I think we still need this forum itself to be a support resource for non-regulars to drop in and ask questions.  Especially once people start to realize this Vibez thing is has the heart and soul of a Rio.

Whether we do a redirect or not, I don't know.  But we should be letting other folks know such as at DAPReview, HeadFi, etc.  Besides, people will start finding us anyway thanks to Google.

i dunno if the 1000 things about the karma is worth looking into if it's not here already. the link is included in rio karma wikipedia.

i pm'd cphrawg and one of the threads i miss was pond's thread about hitachi hard drive specs and his experience with a 30gb hd in terms of performance, 'cause it was deleted.

anyone saved it? if not, i'll breakdown the HTC426030G7AT00 codes for newbies in search of the right drive, if you agree it's important.
