Subject: Vibez - Unplanned drop test
8-( I really really really didn't want to do that.  I'm still not quite sure how it happened.

To make a long story short, somehow while I was out for a walk my vibez came out of my hand and ended up on the sidewalk several feet in front of me.  It landed on its back and slid another few feet.

The beautiful polished back has a bunch of small scratches now.

Didn't seem to bother it in any other way thankfully.  It was playing when I picked it up.  I've been listening to it since.

I wonder how easy it will be to polish out those scratches?

sigh......      :'(  :#:  :-(

Tom77, I have been successful in polishing out scratches on the Rio Carbon backs by using an automobile polishing compound with grit in it on a cotton pad mounted on my dremel.  I spread  the compound on the stainless steel and then put the dremel on high.  Takes many efforts, but works okay except on the deeper scratches.

Glad to hear the Vibez kept playing though.
