Yeah, I got your messages, too (well, obviously, since we've been sending them back and forth). Guess it does take a while, or perhaps it only kicks over when you connect to the Wii Store Channel.
I noticed that even though I'm on WiiConnect24, I'm really only connected to the N servers when I choose to launch into WiiConnect24.
BTW, really trying to refrain from buying Sonic, but the nostalgia is kicking in. Anyone buy it?
I can't make a true comment about Metroid Prime 3 yet, but the only thing I don't like about the aiming system is that the whole screen seems to move with every little touch. Maybe my sensitivity is too high?

I noticed that. Got used to the aiming in about 10-15 minutes, but it took about an hour to get used to that. I'm using Advanced/Expert sensitivity, anyway.
I picked it up in the middle of my brother's file with advance sensitivity, and I did just fine within a minute or two. The game feels great, but unfortunately I was never too into the Metroid franchise.
