I doubt we'll hear back. I'll bet they'll ignore me because I stated in my first support request that if I can't get this to play back gapless I'm returning it.

But if they ignore me I will flood them with emails up until I can return the device. I find it strange that they would put a claim in their firmware that it supports gapless playback and then say they never made the claim. Something funny is going on.

it's kinda hard to think that an engineer doesn't know what gapless is.
i think they claim it because they think most customers don't know what gapless is and "true gapless" sounds like some breakthrough achievement. true? like there is such thing as false gapless.

i don't believe in gapless daps, let alone gapless dmps.

Got a response. They now say yes, it is gapless and apologized, however they then asked if I tried ripping the music using Windows Media Player????? This doesn't sound good. I don't think they have a clue about gapless.

So I responded asking if the player only does gapless for Windows Media Audio files. That would suck big time. So we wait again...

try to rip 2 glued songs in wma and check it out.

It's been over a week and I have not heard back from them on the WMA being gapless, which btw it is not. I think everyone needs to know that this player does not playback gapless on any codec despite their claims.
