Subject: Rare Rios
Heyoo. I found some seemingly rare Rios in the last 6 months. any additional info on these would be appreciated.
- Rio Chiba, "Sobe" edition, 128mb. There was some online contest in March 2005 with up to 28 Chiba 128's as prizes. I recently purchased one, NIB. It's neon green up front, black black, with Sobe printed (not a sticker) beneath the screen area, with a custom box. Cool. Then a week later a 256mb version turns up on eBay, all black. No info in goog about this one, maybe a grand prize or some other contest? got it, it's a sealed box with similar design as the 128mb version. seller said it was an estate buy, no info.
- there's a Rio 600 on ebay.co.uk that's "Stereophonics" branded. seller won't ship to USA.. oh well.
- i have some others... ce2110 (light green), Carbon LE #447, sealed PMP 300, Rio 500 teal & purp ed., Rio 600 Coke ed., etc. But these are known. were there any other limited editions like the two above..?
