Subject: 2 non-working Vibez, 1 12 GB & 1 8GB
Directed here as last hope in figuring out a way to get 2 Vibez working. They are relatively new, purchased with great expectations of German engineering and support. $400 worth of audio devices crapped out within a month. I assumed Trekstor would surpass US/Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese manufacturers in support of their devices but they are totally unresponsive.
With most companies, I have been able to appeal to Executive staff and a VP would respond when level 1 support did its usual hem and haw. I can't find anything for Trekstor. The single time they responded and emailed me a utility for checking firmaware. Since my PC won't even detect devices the Trekstor utility did no good. At that time they told me that if the utility didn't help, I ciould mail them in for service. Thinking I was finally getting somewhere, I emailed them to request address and label for postage if possible. Since then-and 12 subsequent emails later, I haven't heard anything.
