Subject: Android?
I've been lovingly keeping my rio karma alive, but have a couple of backups - rockboxed sansa and a rockboxed ipod...
The backups work, but still not near as elegant as the rio interface. Has anyone had a chance to play withthe archos internet tablet 5? I was wondering if anyone finaly has on the fly/ in progress playlist editing... I figured being ~ open source runningandroid - there might be some possibility there...

best solutions on Android are PowerAMP and Rockbox app.

For the first time since college, I've been moderately impressed with Winamp (for Android).

I concur Winamp for Android is pretty cool. Wireless sync too.

Not exactly what you were looking for, but one of my top 5 favorite Apps on my Android phone is Audiogalaxy. I simply use that to access all of my music on my computer. The drawback: the computer needs to be on to access the music in the "cloud". Still, I don't have to take up valuable storage space on my SD card with music. I hope that this might give you another option.

Google Music is the new hotness for me, but its version of gapless playback sucks.

I like Rockbox quite a bit, and it's getting better all the time. I'll admit that I use a 32GB flash iPod Touch as a DAP more often than my Epic, but that's only due to battery life/storage restrictions.
