Subject: Stalls in Rebuilding database, help needed!!!
i guys, i have read some on this forum, but i can't seem to find anyone who have the same problem as me. My trekstor Vibez keeps stalling when i turn in on, in the "Rebuilding databse" step. I tried leaving it for very long time, like 30 min or so, and it does not move. I tried to unplug the battery, and i tried to reset, nothing works. I could imagine there is a bad sector, or file on it that causes this, and i would just love to try to reformat the drive, but i cant get it to show up on my computer before its finihed with this. I messed around with this problem for 3-4 days now, ever since i got it, and put some music on it, and my computer crashed in the process, because every since the player have stalled. At first it was at 76 %, but then i actually got it to register on my computer again, and i added some more music, thinking that the problem was over, but then my computer crashed again, and now it stalls at 47%
I guess the reason why my computer crashes, is that its very old, and its a temporary computer, i have while my primary is at the shop, for repair. Any idea??? I have acces to both windows OS, and linux..
