This is somewhat true, the s9 is now gapless, as long as you're using one of it's supported lossless codecs - cowon say that ogg vorbis is gapless but no one has been able to prove that case. Now even though lossless is gapless, some people still have been having lossless issues but I imagine that's down to poor encoding/tagging.

Yep, it seem to have some problem, THe gapless do not always work, and it supposed to work with ogg, but it seem not be working, however the time have been reduced a lot. The flac same to work perfecly tought. The mp3 seem not to be close to it at all! (Who gonna to use a Mp3 on this device anyway).

That what people said, on anythingbut ipod.  Looking for the 231 none beta.... That should be fixed for sure!

Just to update, the S9 is now gapless with MP3...w00p w00p for that!
