Subject: Lunch...
Ok, so I don't have a Vibez, so I can't participate in "Last Vibez Standing" (thread).

I have a limping-along-Karma, but don't feel like doing a "Last Karma Standing" right now.

So...what did you have for lunch today?  :-)

I'll start: Last night I had "Grilled Flank Steak Pinwheels" (recipe). I cut up the leftovers, heated in microwave, and threw on top of some baby spinach I had.  Dee-licious.

care to share?

Dude!  You actually eat beans on toast?  Craig Ferguson did a bit on it, I thought it was one of those "35 years ago, in another country," jokes... or when He says that haggis is actually good.

Beans --fine, toast --also fine, but beans on toast?

Not that I mean to rag on you, about your tastes.  I like peanut-butter and bacon sandwiches ---which people apparently find more revolting than haggis...

I also have a still working Karma, which I've only had to hard-reset twice & has been otherwise flawless.

Back on Topic, No lunch at all... but pancakes (from scratch) for breakfast, and a lovely roasted pork sandwich for dinner.
Tell him about the Twinkie...

My lunch today consisted of two smoothies, orange chicken, steamed rice, steamed zucchini, an apple... and some waffle fries. Being a lazy college student, this was courtesy of my university's feedlot, which seems to have discovered that if the food is consistently mediocre they end up having to buy less of it. I may well begin preparing myself beans on toast rather than paying for someone else to make something that tastes about the same...

My Karma sits not two feet away on its perch atop my computer. As it has been supplanted by a Touch, the orange glow from its dock occasionally appears petulant or jealous, but most often it seems to exude a sense of resigned ennui.

I was too busy fucking with a goddamned oscilloscope to have lunch, but I grabbed a smoothie from Freshens before dinner so I could be sated on the inhibited-by-traffic bus-ride.

Peanut butter and bacon is awesome, as is peanut butter and salami.

For lunch, I usually have a sandwich with some kind of cheese and meat, granola bar, apple, and a salty snack
