Subject: Carbon problems
Hi people,I'm new to this forum though i did use the old riovolution a while back.Anyway,I decided to resurrect one of my old Carbons with a new CF card.I read all the good advice on the forum an bought an 8gig card.While I had the case open Itook the opportunity to fix the broken wheel.All went well so I fitted the new card and installed firmware 3.04.When I put some albums on the Carbon it restarted whenever I tried to play any tracks.I checked in My Computer and found that all the albums were showing twice on the card.I've tried reinstalling the firmware a couple of times but no difference.I've tried changing to MSC, but even though the tick shows that it has been set,every time I plug in the usb cable it goes back to MTP.If anyone has any ideas to help I would be very grateful as the carbon is a great little player,in fact it's so good that I bought one for my wife and a ce2100 for my son when Carbons became hard to get.Thanks and keep the Rio name going.
