Subject: Upgrader doesn't recognise the Player

Hey there,

I had some problems connecting my vibez 12 gb to my mac at the office. It worked fine, till yesterday, so I checked the trekstor page for some troubleshooting and I saw there's a new firmware! Since the trekstor hotline told me last time I had problems with the player to update it I thought I give the new verion a try.
At home I connected the Vibez to my pc and startet the updater. It didn't recognise the player, so I googled a little and found out that you have to press the menu button while connecting to the PC. I tryed that but nothing happened. So I called the hotline this mornig. The Lady on the phone told me to do exactly what I did the day before and no big surprise it did not work this time. So she told me to try it with another pc. I'm on an other pc rigth now and tryed to update just two minutes ago but nothing happened.
Any tipps?

PS: The players firmware is 1.04, I tryed to update it to 1.14 and 1.19 beta on Windows Vista.

EDIT: LOL I just tryed again on the other PC without setting the Vibez in the Upgrade-mode and it worked!!! Strange...

Speckknödel, I upgraded my vibez many times and never pressed anything. I stopped worrying about the "fully charge your battery" indoctrination, too. Figured it was probably just some safety thing to prevent a vibez from running low on battery while doing something crucial. I do hate it, though, when they tell you to absolutely do some strange thing X without bothering to explain to you why.
