I bought my mainboard (2nd) from him as well, but that was probably 20 months ago, at least

Thought most ebay parts had  dried up.  Anybody know if  he has any Karma shells in good cond?

I get the same thing, about 4-5 times, then the player locks up. For me it seems like a drive that is dying.  I've rescued it a few times with reformat, but  then the problem returns a couple of days later

When you could still get them, I went into NYC twice to check the Vibez out, but never pulled the trigger. Was kind of broke then. Never did get to listen to it. The second time I went, there wasn't even music on the demo (J&R). Sorry I missed out

My Karma keeps flaking out and is probably on its last legs. So this week I just bought a 5.5gen ipod video refurb and rockboxed it. Nice, but I still wonder what I missed.

When playing you list, go back to the bookmark option and then choose "update"

I had my 14-month-old ipod die in february.  Am using my Karma, but in two weeks of use, I've already had to tear out the drive and reformat it.  I think I'm going to buy a 5g ipod and roxbox it.  Fuze does intrigue me, though.  Have ipod accessories and don't really want to switch.

Ok, so I don't have a Vibez, so I can't participate in "Last Vibez Standing" (thread).

I have a limping-along-Karma, but don't feel like doing a "Last Karma Standing" right now.

So...what did you have for lunch today?  :-)

I'll start: Last night I had "Grilled Flank Steak Pinwheels" (recipe). I cut up the leftovers, heated in microwave, and threw on top of some baby spinach I had.  Dee-licious.

This error used to happen to me,  occasionally.  If all else failed, i did a database rebuild on the karma (Menu > Settings > Troubleshooting > Rescan Music).  This usually worked for me.

I've been listening to my old Karma, after about a year hiatus (killed the HDD on my 1yr old 80gb iPod).  Really wished the Vibez F was coming...

Subject: Just when I got interested...
Xmas 2007, I asked  for a Vibez and got an Ipod (6g, 80gb).  I've been pretty happy with it.  About 3 months ago, the HDD started getting flaky (crashes, corrupted DB, etc.).  This weekend, it seems to have died for good. I think I'm done with hard-drive players for good.

Hey, no problem! I'll just get in line for the Vibez-F.

Guess not.

Might have to be a nano for me.
