Rio Karma Docking Station

In the near future the forum will be going read-only and registrations will be disabled as the Rio IP is pretty much dead and buried and forum activity has slowed to almost nothing.

If there are any objections drop by on IRC and complain to krazykit or myself.

Subject: Rio Karma Docking Station

An exceptional attribute of the Rio Karma can be experienced by placing it in its dock and plugging the same cable you use for linking your computer to the internet into the dock. :scared:

Turn on your Rio Karma and your player is assigned an IP address! This allows you to network with the Rio Karma just like a computer! 8-(

My question, and I'm throwing this out to anyone and everyone: Technology has tremendously advanced since the birth of the Rio Karma. How can we harness this potential? :nuts:

By playing music? Not sure what you want to harness? This was made so if you didn't live in the Wintel world you could transfer music to the player over Ethernet. Nothing more than that.
